The Gray Area is a place where to an outsider, you appear to be normal or “fine”, but deep down, you know you’re not really as happy as you could be or reaching your full potential in life.
The Gray Area can also be described as teetering between going through a “Groundhog Day” type of life and the emotion of being fulfilled, excited and thriving in your life. All too often, we live in a fog where things appear okay just a few feet in front of us, but past that, it’s completely clouded with not much hope.
What you choose to do, use or reach for to relieve your stress isn’t always obvious, like drinking or taking drugs. It could be staying in a toxic relationship, eating a whole pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream in one sitting, or wasting precious .
Think of living in the gray as anything that isn’t working for you or that is derailing you from reaching your highest potential.
You don’t need to stay in the gray area. There is a BETTER way of living! Imagine having the life you want, that you truly deserve.
What does that look like for you?
Is it a new job or career? Perhaps writing that book you’ve been putting off? Or maybe telling your partner that you’re not happy and it’s time to take a break? Maybe it’s spending more time with your kids, or running the 10K that you’ve been eyeing up the last few years.
