Are you wondering what your next step should be? Together, we can navigate through the noise in your head. Taking the initial stride towards self-discovery can be daunting, but you’re taking action just by being here!
I'm here to support you.
"Nobody could know the truth", I said secretly.
Can you relate?
What I’ve found is that a percentage of overly-stressed high achievers are living a life of normalcy to the outside world while wrestling internally with questions surrounding their drinking. This creates shame and embarrassment. They can’t afford to let anyone know what’s going on in fear of losing their job, relationships, and social life. Nothing has happened…yet.
Perhaps you are searching for “how to” moderate your drinking. More specifically, how to just have one glass of wine (or two – let’s be honest)! I get it, almost every person that drinks wants to successfully moderate. They want to be able to enjoy a cocktail now and then without recourse. But…
Can it be done? For some, yes. For others, no. Let’s find out what you can do.
Let's stop the confusion.
Maybe you’ve had thoughts like these:
“Life would be SO boring without drinking! What would I do with myself? How will I entertain clients if I don’t drink? What will they think?”
Are you shaking your head as to how you could ‘do life’ without happy-hour or dinner without your favorite beer or glass of wine? How about that wedding coming up? Perhaps the graduation or holiday party just around the corner?
I know, you might be saying,
“What?? This seems too hard and unrealistic for my social and business life. What will my colleagues and peers think? What happens when I am asked why I am not drinking? I don’t see this as a possibility for me.”
What if you knew you could? What if you are able to enjoy a thriving social & professional life, have abundant appreciation and happiness while knowing that YOU are the one in control?
This isn’t about quitting drinking.
This is shifting your mindset to find clarity. It is through that clarity that you will discover peace within,
instead of your mind racing with uncertainty. And that, my friend, is finding true joy.
Let’s do this.
Let's Question the Drink together.

Words are not enough to express my gratitude and appreciation to Kari. She has given me so much over this past year. I hear her in my head every day! She has shown me how to shift my thoughts, how important thinking plays a role. And gratitude! I’ve had a stunning awakening to gratitude. I thought I was a person of gratitude, but Kari has shown me that I have so much room to grow.
For so long I have beaten myself up and felt so negative about this humbling “Gray Area Drinking!!!!” Now I simply say “I choose not to drink!” Such a little change has made such a HUGE difference. She has such an unbelievable willingness to be there and help! Kari would drop everything to be there for me! I feel it day and night. Her passion – it’s unmatched and she does it with grace and love.
Grace… Kari has shown me how to live with grace through this all.
Lastly and most importantly, her faith in God. He is the center of my universe and she has the ability to tie all of her earthly knowledge in with our heavenly Fathers’ instruction and plan for our lives.
So from the bottom of mine and my families heart, we want to say THANK YOU! Those two words will never be enough.
The world and those she helps are more beautiful because of this amazing journey she is taking on for us all!
I have known Kari for many years. We lost touch a bit for the last few of them while she was crafting her life and I was drowning in mine. With a daughter being an addict, I was ignoring my own addiction for years. When it came to a point that I could no longer look in the mirror and realized my drinking was out of my control, I reached out to Kari. Within seconds, she was there for me. With incredible support and offering me encouragement, ideas, resources, tools, and most of all HOPE, I am on a path I never prayed was possible! She is truly a light in a very dark tunnel!
I met Kari as a client 8 years ago when she and her family moved to Virginia from Pennsylvania. We had an instant connection. Along with her husband Rob and her sons, Kari is not only a friend, but she is also like family. When I began my journey into sobriety 5 years ago, Kari offered so much friendly support and even the occasional shoulder to cry on. Kari is kind, compassionate and empathetic. I admire her confidence, strength, and commitment to helping others. I’m proud of her accomplishments and I support her fully. I’m blessed to call Kari my friend.
- I was living a double life for so long. On the outside, I was your every day church-going stay-at-home-mom who enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine after getting kids in bed or getting together with friends. But the truth is, I was drinking WAY more than that and was absolutely reeling. I was in a slow downward spiral and had no clue how to stop. I wanted to quit….yet quitting didn’t seem like a viable option.AA was out of the question for me at that time. (I wasn’t “that” bad!). That‘s why the very moment I got in touch with Kari was life-altering…a true turning point for me. All of a sudden, I wasn’t alone and there was hope! I never imagined I could give up alcohol completely. It didn’t happen overnight, but it began the process of realizing the fullness of life you can have without alcohol. She was there for me (during some pretty ugly moments) and helped me through those HARD, early steps towards sobriety. She did this with zero judgment… it was refreshing to hear from someone who fully understood and spoke from experience.Today, I am 322 days sober, and I honestly would not be here if it weren’t for Kari‘s support, help, and guidance. I will forever be grateful to her, and so will my husband and 3 children. I am finally the clearheaded, productive, and present individual, wife, and mother that I always wanted to be. Sobriety rocks!!
Having had the pleasure to work with Kari on multiple levels, I can truly say that her persistent optimism is matched by her professionalism and caring. A motivator at heart, she has a way of making interactions both personal and positive. I highly recommend working with her.
